Membership Requirements

FULL MEMBERSHIP - Contractors

Shall be open to companies and organisations whose primary business lays in the insurance related repair market for all insured perils. Such companies may also work for local authorities on repair and maintenance works.  The entrance criteria for Full Members shall be:-

  • Demonstration of technical and financial security working within the insurance related repair market.
  • Limited companies to have a minimum net worth of £50k on a rising scale
  • Partnerships to have audit certificate to the same value.
  • Minimum number of direct employees to be 10.
  • Requirement for separate managerial competence from the operatives, workforce and approved sub contractors.
  • Provision of acceptable audits to the Association for Health and Safety and training issues

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP – COMPANIES & INDIVIDUALS

Shall be open to either companies or individuals allied to the insurance repair industry and in the supply chain.  This class of memberships will not carry voting rights.  Such companies may be technical suppliers, loss adjustors, engineers etc.

FEES

Membership subscriptions are charged from 1st January to 31 December each year.  Members joining the Association after 1 July will be charged on pro rata basis.  Invoices for subscription for new members will be sent on appointment to membership.

The annual subscriptions above relate to turnover in insurance related SI and are exclusive of VAT.
